Daffodils are out… and that can only mean one thing ☕🌼

You can always tell when spring has properly arrived.

Not by the calendar.
Not by the weather forecast.

But by the daffodils.

Suddenly they’re everywhere — along country lanes, around village signs, popping up in hedgerows like little yellow flags announcing that winter has finally had its turn.

And around here, when the daffodils start appearing like that…

…it usually means Mother’s Day isn’t far behind.

Bright yellow.
Impossible to ignore.

The countryside’s quiet reminder that spring has arrived — and that a certain Sunday is getting closer.

A Certain Sunday Is Approaching

Ten days’ time, to be precise.

Which always sounds like plenty of time…

Right up until it suddenly isn’t.

And that’s probably why the boss has a spring in his step. Not a calm, gentle spring either — more the sort of energetic hopping that suggests the Easter Bunny has arrived several weeks early.

But we’re used to that. And as long as the kettle keeps doing its thing, the fact we’ll all be doing a fair bit of overtime soon is fine by us.

So whatever you’re doing this Mother’s Day —

Looking forward to breakfast in bed.
Making a long-distance phone call.
Sending a bouquet.
Or quietly reflecting.

We hope your day is a lovely one.

And if you’re interested, we do happen of course to have flowers and balloons on standby in the shop — and online too.

No pressure of course.

But we thought we’d mention it while the kettle’s on 😃.

Until our next brew guys

May your daffodils be bright, your tea just right, and your mum thoroughly spoiled this Mother’s Day. ☕🌼

Cheers,
The Interdelightful Crew 💫Day
