Probably about time I said hello ☕
Up until now, most of our Weekly Brews have been delegated to our overworked IT/Digital Marketing/SEO/Customer Support/Emergency Packer guy.
He’s done a solid job to be fair — kept the kettle warm, kept things ticking over, and generally made it sound like we’ve got a better grip on things than we probably have.
Now, being the boss, delegation is normally my middle name — but no more. The Brew is our voice, and it should be written by me. So… to that end, you don’t just need my middle name, you probably would like to know my first as well.
I’m Nick.
I run Interdelightful — and have done for longer than I probably care to admit — and up until now I’ve been quite happy staying just behind the scenes. Close enough to everything that’s going on, but not necessarily the one standing in front of it.
That seems to be changing.
A small shift
Over the past few months, things have started to feel a bit different. The pivoting is making me dizzy, the shop is building again, and there’s been a bit more happening out in the open than behind the curtain.
Nothing dramatic. Just small shifts, happening week by week.
But enough that it feels like the right time to step forward slightly and say hello properly.
You’ll be seeing a bit more of me
Partly because it makes sense — if you look at how things are going now, especially online, it’s much less about perfectly polished websites and much more about people. Faces. Presence. Something real to connect with.
And partly because, after years of happily staying in the background, it feels like the right time to step forward a bit and be part of what’s going on, rather than just behind it.
I’ve no doubt there’ll be the odd awkward moment, something not quite going to plan, and a few things I’ll wish I’d done or said differently — but that’s more or less how we’ve always worked anyway.
Same vibe, just a bit more visible
Nothing else really changes.
The Brew stays the same. The shop stays the same, and most importantly, the kettle will continue to do most of the heavy lifting.
It’s just that you might see a bit more of me — as we head slightly into the unknown.
Till the next brew,
May your introductions be short, your timing reasonably good, and your kettle always on when you need it.
Cheers,
Nick and all the Interdelightful Crew 💫
