Well, finished might be stretching it slightly.

There’s still wires, tools, bits leaning against walls and plenty of jobs waiting their turn. But the oak top is finally in place, properly oiled and looking like it belongs there.

And somehow that changes things.

It’s one of the first moments where the room stops feeling like a collection of tasks and starts feeling like something with a bit more purpose behind it.

Still a long way to go.

But it’s getting there.
