A road, a legend, and a rather lovely gin? 🍸✨
Hello, you golden lot!
This month, we’re taking a slightly different path.
High above the Irish Sea runs an ancient hilltop track known as the Golden Road, stretching across the Preseli Hills in West Wales. For thousands of years it has connected people, places and stories — and now, rather wonderfully, it’s led us straight to this month’s Gin Club box.
And trust us… this one was worth the journey.
This month’s gin
Dressed in blue and gold in its mountain-shaped bottle, Golden Road Dry Gin is a small-batch Welsh spirit crafted in the rolling hills of Pembrokeshire by Phil and Jennifer, whose nearby farm and surroundings inspired the gin from the ground up.
At first pour it feels bright, crisp and beautifully classic — juniper, citrus peel and soft floral notes leading the way — but then come the quieter layers. Fresh bay leaves picked straight from the farm, delicate cherry tea, gentle warmth and a smooth, rounded finish that lingers just long enough.
It’s elegant without being fussy, refreshing without trying too hard, and quietly complex in all the right ways.
A gin that takes the scenic route… and is better for it.
What’s inside this month’s box
Alongside the gin, you’ll find our usual Intergin mix — carefully paired tonics, garnish, nostalgic treats and a few indulgent extras to settle in with between pours.
And of course, a fresh edition of the Ginsarian newsletter, ready to dip into while the ice slowly melts.
It’s a box built for long evenings, easy company and that second pour you definitely said you weren’t going to have.
