The boss kept the spark alive after Bonfire Night ππ₯
It started the morning after Bonfire Night β boxes stacked high, roses everywhere, and someone asking whoβd finished the milk again.
Then, just before lunch, the boss appeared with a grin and a tray of toffee apples, proudly declaring it βa Post Bonfire Night treat for the team.β
Within minutes, productivity took a sugary detour. There was laughter, a few sticky mishaps, and a heated debate over the best apple-to-toffee ratio. One rolled under the counter (later rescued), and another was gifted to a customer who just happened to walk in at the right time.
The kettle went straight on β partly to wash down the sugary rush and partly because thatβs what we do here when things get delightfully out of hand. The boss, clearly pleased with himself, called it a team-building exercise. We called it lunch. βπ¬
Guy Fawkes might have failed to light his fuse, but our boss certainly kept the spark alive. Hereβs to thoughtful gestures, warm brews, and the little sparks that make working here such a blast. π
A little extra spark from us this week β
Yesterday wasnβt just Bonfire Night; it was also Love Your Red Hair Day β one of our Daily Delights. Seems only right to celebrate both the fiery skies and the fiery locks that brighten the season. π₯
